The Diocese of Niagara is keeping Gaia in Christmas

The Diocese of Niagara is promoting The Order of the Sacred Earth this Christmas. The idea is to take a vow to become “the best lover and defender of Mother Earth that I can be”.

We are assured that this is not a new religion and, since whole exercise exudes the aroma of pagan fertility rites, it’s hard to disagree: it’s an old one that has been regurgitated, then puréed and seasoned by sprinkling it with enough 21st century banalities to make it appealing to the modern palate. Another thing we can agree on is that it has nothing to do with Christianity. Just like the Diocese of Niagara.

From the diocesan web site:

ORDER OF THE SACRED EARTH
Matthew Fox, Skylar Wilson, Jennifer Berit Listug (Monkfish Book Publishing Company 2018)
Fox writes that the world does not need another religion or even a reshuffling of our old religions. He says, “What it needs is a new Order.” He describes this Order as a community and movement of people [no matter what their background] to share a sacred vow to preserve Mother Earth and become the best lovers and defenders they can be on behalf of Mother Earth. A post-denominational Order and a post-religious Order – therefore a Spiritual order!

  1. We’re -losing & losing & losing members in the Anglican Church Of Canada; furthermore, Younger persons are going to more Conservative Churches. But also parts of the population thinks it’s ok just to care about external things is all you need & the same group can be skeptical about Christianity. But the Bible sais, ‘Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me’, is what seems to be going on. In the West a train of thought is that, ‘we can do without Christianity’.

  2. “Not a new religion, but a new order” is a bold faced lie. This is nothing other than a new-age pagan cult of mother-nature worship. Perhaps these false preachers have finally come to the realization that people are not looking for a new religion, and so they are simply putting lipstick on their pig cult and lying to the people again. Trying to portray their earth goddess worship as something that it is not. Simply put, they are the grand imposters. People seeking the one true God will not be fooled and this sinful attempt on their part will fail to save their club from ruin.

  3. “This is nothing other than a new-age pagan cult of mother-nature worship.”

    In a nutshell.

As the fate of those unfortunate tourists on that volcanic island in New Zealand horribly demonstrated, “Mother Nature” doesn’t care.

  4. God of nature is a temporary god of the material universe. It cannot save anybody. It cannot command anybody’s obedience. It is a creation of some humans. It may enjoy a following by some humans. It will be a passing fad, because it is not the eternal triune God.

  5. With the current apostate leadership within the ACoC I would not be surprised if they decided to worship dead mosquitos. They have lost any connection with the true GOD of the Scriptures and worship whatever “god” comes into their mind. Tragically they are dragging many into their pit of apostasy. It is long past the time for clergy to stand up to these apostate so-called bishops and demand their removal from office.

Many, many, many of your comments I’ve seen & many, many, many times I’ve seen & re-seen & re-seen your name

Yes, I agree, you know your facts

Are you still with the Anglican Church Of Canada?

    https://www.anglicansamizdat.net/wordpress/diocese-of-new-westminster-will-ignore-marriage-canon-vote/

I’m not because my congregation left due to those who are in control who speak for us all is how it happened with us starting with, ‘The Walkout at Synod’.

    We are now

    https://www.stjohnsvancouver.org/

    We were

    https://www.stjohnsshaughnessy.org/

Due to a lost Court Case, Licenses being taken away

    We left

We were at St John’s (Shaughnessy)

    Around 1000 people or so

& also at the new location as well

    But St John’s (Shaughnessy) now?

Last time I was there, some time ago was about 50 or so

    • I am now with the Anglican Network in Canada. When we refused to bow down to the apostate Michael Ingham he used the civil courts to not only legally steal our property but also forcing us out of the building. Thanks to another church in Abbotsford we are sharing a building and have done so for more than five years. Until the ACoC takes positive and clear action to remove the APOSTATES it will continue in its rapid descent into oblivion. Tragically many in the pews have been convinced that the word of a so-called bishop is superior to THE WORD and are content to worship the “god of political expediency”.

  7. Response to Frank Wirrell

    Oh, so I now see

Sounds like you probably had this happen to you the same time we had this happen to us.

What a big mess that this all is

I think that it goes with the Anglican Church structure is that Bishops do have certain

powers, yes, indeed but THE WORD is final & above a Bishop is In submission to THE

    WORD
