More than 500,000 people attended the Vancouver Pride parade on Sunday.
130 of them attended the Diocese of New Westminster’s special Pride Day service in the Cathedral; 60 of them may have been there for the free brunch.
So go the diocesan plans to fill the 600-seat cathedral.
Seriously, are children carrying that banner and following behind? Please say it isn’t so.
It’s genuine. What concerns me more is that they’re all from my parish and I know them all.
Nothing short of indoctrinating the children at a very early age.
Make no mistake about it. We are in the midst of an all out war. What is at stake is all of creation and man’s salvation.
I pray that God gives us the strength to fight the good fight and to carry on.
Onward Christian soldiers.
Indoctrination by whom? I suspect this has more to do with what they’re being taught in school than in Church (the parish is a mix of liberal and conservative and has stayed out of the SSB debacle). I also notice they seem to be the entire contingent, which, given that this was organized by the cathedral, gives me a certain amount of comfort.
Personally, I do not think children should be involved.
Elliott would exploit a ventilated corpse if he thought it would advance his agenda.
And parents need to exercise control over the school board, or take the home-school option…
A very, very sad spectacle.
It was actually their choice to be involved: while the relevant parents supported them, they took the initiative.
I don’t know if the Vancouver parade is anything like the Toronto one but the displays of nudity and obscenity would not be fit for children to see, let alone participate in the parade.
