The only overweight person in N.Korea. I understand “the dear leader” acquired a love of Western decadent cheeses during his years in Switzerland attending a private school. He apparently maintains his love and supply of European cheeses. I predict he’ll continue to disappear from public eye for weeks at a time when suffering the effects of gout-a disease seldom encountered in North Korea.
He has an admirable head of hair and the recent change, I think, is intended to impart the appearance of precocious wisdom in an ongoing attempt to create a figure of mythologic proportion; the abbreviated eyebrows heighten the effect.
