One of the many ironies of China is that no gasoline powered motorbikes are permitted: they are all electric to reduce pollution and be more green. Yet we have this all powered by coal fired generating stations:

The irony of electric bikes and coal-powered generation indeed. Here at home, our Dear Leader seems determined to freeze us all to death in search of a more pristine and morally preening Dominion.
Hmm… let’s see, the metropolitan agglomeration of Shanghai has a population of some 34 million – only about a million less than that of our entire country. That’s like having almost six Toronto metropolitan agglomerations in one place!
And we’re going to save the world by our own self-inflicted economic extinction?
