Richard Dawkins has refused to debate William Lane Craig; his excuses have included a classic piece of projection: “I have no intention of assisting Craig in his relentless drive for self-promotion.”
Someone kindly emailed me this poster which, if you click on it, will reveal a high resolution version suitable for printing and attaching to the side of a bus.
I can see why he doesn’t take people like you very seriously. You’re just trolling. Nice poster.
u can also see that Dawkins is trolling….which is much more common to him than William Lane Craig
And you aren’t?
ah, but you see, Richard Dawkins made the statement, “I don’t care who you are or what community you come from or what church you go to or anything else. I want to talk to you, have a dialogue with you, about the evidence one way or the other. We’ll have a friendly conversation about it, and I’ll win the argument.” So when he refuses a debate with ANYBODY, this is hypocrisy, and most people would agree then, that this cartoon is at least partly justified. Meanwhile, when his previous statement above should, if he wants to appear to be a man of his word, (and not a liar/hypocrite), assure that he would debate William Lane Craig, he refuses to based on what he said above (in the cartoon, it is also what he wrote on his website). Yet, he is (INSTEAD of keeping his word) out doing self-promotion of his new book, and claiming that he doesn’t want to help “promote” William Lane Craig, when his previous statement (above) says that he thinks he would win the debate (therefore, not helping to promote William Lane Craig).
My reply was directed at ‘anon’.
