From here:
Judging by the explanation for its decision to restrict public access to abortion figures, Ontario’s government should now be preparing a lengthy list of other statistics that are too dangerous to be shared with the public.
Questioned as to why it had begun making it harder to obtain figures related to the number of abortions performed in the province, a practice that has been increasingly evident to researchers for some time, the provincial Ministry of Health responded in a statement to the National Post: “Records relating to abortion services are highly sensitive and that is why a decision was made to exempt these records.”
The exemption referred to is an amendment last year to Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). The act is intended to “increase the financial accountability of organizations in the broader public sector,” in part by making statistics publicly available. Abortion figures are excluded from the act.
Why? Well, because they’re “sensitive.”
If abortion is merely the expulsion of a group of cells from a woman’s womb, there is really no reason to conceal the number of expulsions.
If abortion is the terminating of a person’s life, then there should be a law against it.
The Ontario government can’t have it both ways: either publish the figures or have an honest parliamentary debate on limiting abortion – I would like it gone, but let’s start with “limiting”.
I find it more than odd that liberals oppose capital punishment because: “in the future the murderer might turn their life around and become a valuable member of society” or “a civilized society does not commit murder masquerading as justice” -while at the same time supporting abortion, which denies ANY future and ANY justice to an innocent child.
In spite of opinion to the contrary, the fellow travellers of the liberal government of Ontario, have shown themselves to be creations of God, by betraying their inner feelings. For denying the publication of the statistics on abortion springs from the inate shame of the act itself, and the increased shame of revealing the extend of the genocide being allowed and encouraged.
Perhaps a paper Roman Catholic Christian at the helm feels this shame and angst the most, even if he doesn’t know or acknowledge it.
He allows the annihalation of a generation, but is insistent upon spending 3 billion dollars of borrowed money a year on a pre-kindergarden, (proven not to advance learning as espoused) ,and tells us it is for the children, and of course it is not to garner the votes of those who will take advantage of the public largesse of baby sitting their off spring despite it being a false economy for them, for they will pay for it someday, somehow, in spades. Bringing to 16 billion dollars the total borrowed each year to add to a debt of approximately 250 billion accumulated under their uncaring and destructive leadership.
Destructive policies, just as abortion is the destruction of life.
Greece please make room on the shelf of folly for the Province of Ontario, we’ll be there soon.
As always, logic and common sense is supplanted in these folks by the need to erase and destroy the foundational principles of faith, morality and democracy that our country was founded upon.
