On this day in 1955 the Anglican Church of Canada was conceived

On August 31st, 1955 the Church of England in Canada changed its name to Anglican Church of Canada.

50 years later it didn’t change it to the Marxist Anglican Denomination, but it should have.

  1. They may have been the Tory Party at prayer at one point but it sure ain’t discernable today.

I think the focus of most Anglican congregations is to do “social justice” through a socialist lense. It seems to me that any form of evanglisation is repugnant. Perhaps they should include it among the Articles of Faith.

That being said, my own parish – Christ Church in Oshawa – is decidedly on the more evangelical side and a bit more faithful to following the Gospel. Would you believe they even mentioned sin in last week’s sermon. What is the Anglican church coming to?
