As I have stated several times this clearly shows that apostates such as Fred Hiltz and other so-called bishops should be immediately removed from office. The ACoC and the TEC have shown they are no longer Christian or Anglican and worship a god of their own creation.
Would he have any words for those who are suffering a great deal of pain from seeing their beloved church skid into apostasy?
At the present rate of decline by the time the next Lambeth rolls around the fourteenth and probably last ACoC Archbishop will be outside the Eaton Center bumming change for a ride. Barring that he and the last two church goers can use the Skype connection at the real estate office that is selling off all the properties.
They stopped being our church a long time ago, now merely custodians of once proud (and full) halls of worship.
The mainstream Anglican Church is hopeless (so is the Lutheran ELCIC)….ruined by the apostate,liberal groupthinkers, who have succeeded in moving the Church from orthodoxy to apostasy.
There is only one thing to do….leave that Church….no point staying and endorsing this madness , with ones silence. Thats the gospel of the “checkbook”.

It is obvious that the message from those Faithful to God did not get through to Hiltz. He continues to support those who are more interested in satisfying their groins then those who look to God. He says he is “especially mindful of the pain (of) the LGTBQ community…” Is he even aware of he pain he and his cohorts have inflicted upon the Faithfull? Does he even care? I think he does not.
Actually the institutional church in general needs to raise the bar above the waist. Is it just me or has the church spent a disproportionate time agonizing on the control of both diet and ones sexual proclivities. No wonder people aren’t hearing the Gospel message. I subscribe to the axiom …simply put…that I don’t personally care who does what to whom just so long as no one gets hurt. No need have the Church sanction it. Thus endeth the lesson.

I understand your sentiment about “…so long as no one gets hurt.” However this echoes the secular moral ethos of “do no harm” which I personally consider substandard and inferior to the Teachings given us by Jesus Christ. With “do no harm” we could side with the Pharisee who chose to not help the man in the ditch rather than the good Samaritan who did help. “Do no harm” is passive and thus allows evil to persist. Alternatively Jesus Christ gives us the far more demanding moral ethos of “do unto other as you would have others do unto you” and “to love one another as I have loved you.”. With this Christian Teaching we are called to challenge the wayward of the Anglican church of Canada.
