Was it Netanyahu who said “The difference between Israel and Hamas is that Israel protects its civilians with rockets, and Hamas protects its rockets with civilians.” ?
For Michael D:- You are quite correct. Hamas does protect its rockets with civilians and history shows they have no regard for residents in the area as long as they can argue against Israel defending itself. Hamas is Islam and they have no concern whatever for human life.
Hamas is ‘soft’ Islamic State: and as Ron Prosor, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN declared yesterday on behalf of “civilization” to its Secretary General, “Israel is on the front line.” Meanwhile, Iraqi Christians and other minorities on the line plead for either UN or American intervention; the US sends drones; the UN drones on.
Golda Meir’s words many years ago are appropriate to today.
“Peace will come when the Arabs will love their children more than they hate us.”
She also said. ” When peace comes, we will perhaps in time be able to forgive them for killing our sons but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons.”
