It’s encouraging to know I have the attention of the Diocese of Niagara, but it appears they have absolutely no sense of humour and want to shut me up. I don’t have the details yet, but they are threatening a defamation of character suit, apparently. The pursuit of excellence through compulsive suing.
And all because I just happened to mention the fact that M—–l P——-n has been telling l–s.
Read it all here while you still can.
It appears that the this is the only solution to everything that the Dioceses of Niagara has….”sue them and take them to court” 1Cor.6
The truth sometimes hurts. My guess is M.P. is trying to scare you. Although, he would most likely would not be spending his money, history has shown that he would propably perfer to use money from tithes and offerings to defend his good name, at the expense of the Gospel.
I would hate to go to court and have it proved that you were a l…..ar
But having to pay court costs for both parties is not a problem when you are spending money that is not yours. What ever happened to turning the other cheek?
Got to love that, it’s hard to know what to say.
Bravo Diocese of Niagara for showing your true colours!
David, I hope for your sake that this doesn’t go any farther, but if the DoN’s math skills happen to be officially called into question, I would stand up and cheer…
I know exactly what to say, but I would have to use language that I gave up using when I became a Christian.
According to CanLaw
The Fair Comment Defense seems to apply. There is always the HRC hurt feeling clause, proof is not a requirement.
Seems to be a case of saber rattling

Maybe, but it does show that what we are dealing with here is sophisticated bullying.
True, however, this kind of lawsuit can take a long time (years?) before it sees daylight in a court.
Wouldn’t Mr P have to prove that he hasn’t been lying when there is ample proof to the contrary. Does he really want all of his porkies brought to the light?
Does he really want all of his porkies brought to the light?
Oh please, I’ve just had lunch.
I admit that I am a sinner as I believe all of us are. Some of us, however, take what Jesus says, and teaches us, more seriously than others. I am one of those. and I feel strongly, that people in high positions should be more particular as to what they are called to do Shouldn’t we be committed to believe and trust our teachers ? Who is our teacher ? Whom do we believe? Our LORD and MASTER left us with a guide as to what we have to do and how to behave towards others! It is difficult, but it is. Trying to abide in Him is to fully live and move and have our being in Him Who was crucified for us,and shed His blood for us to save us from sin and death,so we could even communicate with Our Heavenly Father! We would have to change The Word and each one of us will have his own Bible written by him or herself! So, is that what we’re going to do? changing The Word of God ?Does this mean we’re being asked to forget “THE WAY and THE TRUTH and THE LIFE?” and to do as others see fit?
Stand up stand up for Jesus………
Well David, it seems that I may have to contribute to yet another defense fund. At least in your case, I’m getting solid entertainment value!
Peace,
Jim
Didn’t Jebus say something about ‘woe unto the hypocrites’? There’s some lousy ‘Christians’ posting in this thread. Logs and splinters, people. If you want to do the Christian thing, then shut up, put up, and offer the other cheek.
[14] John Smith,
Maybe I missed something.
Patterson makes a deposition attesting to facts that are clearly not in evidence. Our Blog host takes Patterson to task for his perjury in his own inimitable humour manner. Patterson then threatens to sue David for something -hurt feelings?
Now you post “something” about “Jebus” and hypocrites and accuse the posters on this site of unchristian behaviour.
Please Mr Smith: give us chapter and verse on the scripture(s) you are referring to and then kindly lead us to the error of our ways in what you are citing.
As a sinner who works hard to mend his ways, I would greatly appreciate your help.
Peace,
Jim
David,I shall return and ask why and in who’s name my brother was thrown out of the Lord’s house. While there I will ask if anyone found your favorite pen that you lost while being bounced.
