Well, actually, make that a group of ecclesiastical political correctness apparatchiks who know nothing whatsoever about science, climate or normal life, led and hosted by the Anglican Ken Dodd impersonator:
At a meeting hosting by the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, leaders from Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Baha’i, Jain and Zoroastrian faiths called on the UK and G20 governments to fight for an ambitious deal to cut greenhouse gas emissions at UN-led talks in Copenhagen in December.
A statement issued by the groups meeting at Lambeth Palace, London, said catastrophic climate change posed a ”very real threat to the world’s poor and to our fragile creation”.
Poor Rowan. There are some really awful photos of him circulating…
Poor Rowan. Instead of forwarding the Great Commission he is off on a tangent to make himself look busy and important. The mark of a true bureaucratic minion with no originality, spunk or common sense. As in Peter’s Principle he has risen to his level of incompetence. Too bad it was at the near top.
Amazing – inter-faith dialogue with an end – a published end, no less. Calling for the end of something society is comfortable with…using our cars! Hmmm….too bad Rowan is so set on “Indabas” designed not to make decisions in just one little denomination of one world religion, on just one little issue, affecting one little group, which comprises…the tiny Christian fraction of 1-2% of the population…
