As I wrote here, the cross in the Oakville Senior Citizen Residence chapel was removed so as not to offend non-Christians.
It has been replaced with an arrow pointing to Mecca.
Last month, remove the cross; this month add an arrow to Mecca; next month build a minaret on the roof? Did I mention that Bishop Michael Bird’s wife, Susan works there?
Are you serious? Is it an actual arrow with the intent that it point to Mecca?
Yes, there really is an arrow pointing to Mecca.
If this is true, which beggars the imagination, perhaps the arrow was put there as an affront to Mrs. Bird?
If you know this particular residence the majority there are Christian. If there are any Muslims they would be a definite minority. So why is the arrow deemed to not be offensive but the cross is?
